Four Truths and a Lie

I’m getting caught back up with daily blog reading and have come across a number of new blogs out there…well, new to me at least. It’s already 11am and I still haven’t showered…the kids are fixated on Noggin. Didn’t have that in Aruba.

I will update my blog roll sometime soon with all of the great blogs I’ve come across, I promise.

Anyhow.

I saw this on Nine Truths and a Lie post at Doodaddy. LOVE the idea, but I’m a tad bit lazy and just did my 100th post with 100 things about me a couple of months ago. Not sure that I can come up with nine truths that you haven’t already heard. So, I’ll do my slacker mom version of 4 truths and a lie.

--

1) I had cupcakes for my wedding cake.

2) My high school boyfriend’s mother once said, “My therapist told me that I need to learn to get along with you.”

3) I used to plan events in Boston and one of my favorite clients was the National Funeral Director’s Association.

4) I was engaged once before I met The Daddy.

5) I’m not friends with any of my ex-boyfriends.

Can you guess…which is the lie?

(Oh, and my SIL and THE Daddy are not allowed to give away the answer…hi, guys!)

I love this idea and I never do the whole meme thing. I’m not going to tag anyone, but if you’re looking for inspiration for a new blog post, give it a try. And if you want to send a little linky love my way, I won’t complain.

I say that number 4 is the lie. Hell, to be honest, they all sound like truths to me! You're good!

I'll give it a couple of days before I reveal the answer. I went to 12 years of Catholic school...acquired pretty decent lying skills over the years...but also the damn guilt that goes along with it;)

You're actually doing pretty well -- the original game is "2 truths and a lie"!

I hardly know you (first visit!), but I'm going to guess #5. Everyone should be friends with at least one ex, right?

Unless you had really bad exes... ;(

Thanks for stopping by. I'll reveal the answer in a couple of days. So far, one guess for #4 and one for #5.
