So…wondering how my first day of softball went?
Let’s see...I left the dog outside when I left the house. He was on the back porch whining when my husband returned 2 ½ hours later.
I left the light and fan running in a bathroom. Not a huge crime, but not like me.
I put the ham and cheese “away” into the bread drawer instead of the fridge.
I dropped my kids off with my husband and their faces were dirty still from lunch.
There were more minor signs that I’ve already lost my mind…my husband literally had a list when I got home. He was wondering if I was OK.
I was a bit defensive at first, but as the list rattled on, I could do nothing but laugh hysterically. I lost it with the ham in the bread drawer.
I swear I would have lost my head if it wasn’t attached yesterday. Today, not much better. I'm trying to be more careful though. This is going to be one hell of a season!
In my defense…I think I would be fine if we weren’t throwing this trip to Aruba in the mix during the first week of tryouts. It’s set me over the edge. Not that I’m complaining, because I SO want to go to Aruba. BUT, there’s a certain amount of stress planning to take 2 small kids out of the country for 5 days…especially since I’m leaving a day before Princess and she needs to have everything ready for my MIL to take her to school.
I leave the house with BamBam at 3:30 AM tomorrow. We’re supposed to get another snow storm starting around 5ish. Agh!
Wish me luck. Hope I don’t forget BamBam at the airport.

OK. OK. Deeeeeep breaths. You won't forget BamBam. Everything will work out. And if doesn't? Who cares. You're going to Aruba. It's all going to be good!
Have fun, hon! Say "Hi!" to the ocean for me and wave in the general direction of Bonaire.
Wow, I leave for a few days and you book a trip to aruba, start softball season AND leave a dog in the cold and ham in the bread drawer? I better keep tighter tabs in Mommycosm - it's a lot of activity to digest at once on a Tue nite. Glad to know BamBam is better! And very cool tongue depressor puppet.
Yo! The margins aren't all fudged up! Nice! As for your trip, just focus on one thing at a time, although that is always easier said than done. Good luck!
