The Best Way to Wake Up

It's 6am.  The sun is brightly shining.  I can hear the birds chirping through the open window.  The temperature in the room is perfect, just cool enough to snuggle under blankets, yet not cold like winter mornings.  I'm usually not a morning person, but today I welcome the light.  I actually had a complete night sleep, the first in a long time.

I look over to see BamBam in bed with me. My husband must have climbed in with Princess.  BamBam looks so incredibly sweet and innocent. I  can't resist giving him a quick, soft kiss on the forehead.  I love that little man.  He stirs and quietly whispers I love you, Mommy without even opening his eyes.

My heart melts.

Being a mother is priceless, everyday we revel at the precious gift in front of us: our child. I know exactly how you feel. I sometimes smile and cry at the same time just looking at my sleeping son. It's a joy being a mom.

I love this entry, I can really relate to this.

Here's to us being a mom.

Love,
Yvie

How precious....savor these days as they go by too fast....my daughters are young ladies and now I realize how much I miss those days when they were little girls.

Aw, what a sweetie. Don't you just love those sweet, little boys? Too much!

PS I waved and hollered to Aruba for you! :-)
