Apparently, neither could my body. I have both. Good times.
My eye HURTS. I ended up in the ER on Saturday night in SO. MUCH. PAIN. Note to self, if an ER doctor offers you a script for a pain killer, such as vicodin, don’t be brave. TAKE IT. Eye pain is not fun and it is probably best to knock yourself out for a day or so anyway. Jackass.
And the nail polish remover blisters…who’da thunk it?!?!? I’m not talking about little itty bitty blisters, either. Think ET, phone home. One of my pointer fingertips has a blister the size of a nickel. I kid you not. The dye in nail polish is EVIL. Apparently purple and pink dyes are the biggest culprits. That’s what I get for trying to save a few pennies and give myself a manicure. Never again.
WTH his going on here in MommyCosm? What did I do to deserve this? Well, Karma made me her bitch again. The ER visit came slightly after I learned that the softball team, the one that I “quit” recently, lost in the quarter finals of the state tournament. I’ll admit, a part of me was slightly happy…felt a bit of relief even. I KNOW that sounds horrible, but as much as I wanted the girls to win, and I always do want what’s best for the girls, I swear…I wanted the powers that be to have validation that my participation in the past was paramount to their success. This was my little bit of proof.

Oh, wow. I can't top those. And? The drugs? It's always a good excuse to be drugged up for a couple of days. Consider it a mini-vacation! :-)

Having a pain in the eye is really painful. My husband used to have eyelid infection and he can't focus on one thing for a long time and he'd rather sleep.
We certainly have bad days sometimes but I hope you get well the soonest (I can't imagine having both pain on the eye and finger)

My husband just had oral surgery yesterday. I feel bad for anyone who's in pain right now... but eye pain... that must really suck. Hope you feel better soon!
