Review: Potty Animals by Hope Vestergaard

While I was out of the country, I received a wonderful surprise from Sterling Publishing.  They sent me a free box of children's books due to be released in 2010.

Way cool.

We really enjoyed a few, but our all-time favorite was Potty Animals: What to Know When You've Gotta Go!* by Hope Vestergaard.

OMG - We all rolled around laughing when we read this book.  According to the description:

It covers everything from lifting the seat and closing the door to planning ahead when you’re on a trip.

Yeah.  THAT it does.  That it does.  And then some.

The rhymes are extremely witty and the illustrations, hilarious.  I think any child younger than their tweens will appreciate the humor...and be guilty of at least one of the potty faux pas.  I definitely have enjoyed reading it over and over.  It makes me giggle.

I mean, seriously, who doesn't love potty humor?  Right?

This is a GREAT book.  I highly recommend it.
