Review: Shabby Apple's Midnight Garden dress

I took advantage of the cooler weather and a professional hair styling to pose in my new Shabby Apple dress.

Have you heard of Shabby Apple yet?  I'll admit, I hadn't.  Well, let me tell you: Shabby Apple is a fabulous online dress boutique for women, preteens and girls.  Their styles are hip and appropriate for work and play.  Their dresses are feminine and flirty, yet they actually cover.  (ahem)

Now, gotta tell you, I don't usually order dresses online.  I'm a size 6 with a DD chest.  Poor me, right?  Seriously though, it can be hard to find the right fit.

I was really impressed with Shabby Apple's website.  They allow you to shop by body type, offer style advice and a fit guide... as well as An Apple a Day blog.

I tend to be a bargain shopper, so some of the prices seemed a little above my comfort zone.  This dress is $72.  BUT if you sign up with your email, you will receive 10% off AND they are offering $25 gift cards for each friend you refer after they make a purchase.  Not too shabby.  (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

The dress I'm wearing is called Midnight Garden.  The decription warned that it runs a size big.  While I would normally go with a medium to accommodate the girls, I went with a small.  It works.

I kinda liked playing fashion model.  Here are a couple more shots in case that first one doesn't do it justice:

I love this dress so much, especially with my new jeggings and Ecco boots I won at BlogHer.  It's a much better look than my usual yoga pants and sneakers, lol.  Look for me wearing it next week at Type-A Mom... minus the straight hair because I can never get it to look that good on my own;)

I received this Midnight Garden dress from Shabby Apple for free in exchange for writing an honest review.  As always, opinions are my own.  See my disclosure.
