I softly launched my new business concept while at Type A Parent Conference last week. The web show I host and produce (Mommycosm Reviews) is about to celebrate its 30th episode in July AND I have been enjoying my contract gig at TheMotherhood as Producer of their LIVE video chats so much that I decided it was worth pursuing further opportunities within LIVE video.
I will be working hard to get the website up and running before BlogHer '11 in San Diego. Ehem...anyone have a good Squarespace designer? Speaking of design. On the design side, I have a logo that I love and some business cards that are... meh...OK.
As I delve deeper into this venture, I would love feedback from the Mommycosm community. If you are reading this, that includes YOU.
How do you like the above logo? My first stab at a business card?
On the technology side, I am completely ready to roll. I am able to embed a LIVE stream box on (just about) any website and pull in 1-6 remote cameras along with b-roll (images, pre-filmed video and credits) in order to produce a LIVE event.
Know of an author wanting to host a LIVE chat with their audience?
Know of a brand about to issue a press release that might want to kick it up on notch by doing so via LIVE feed?
Want to increase your presence and interact with social media Moms by hosting a LIVE chat with an established Motherhood community?

A little aside: I literally had goosebumps during the LIVE Rice Krispies chat over at TheMotherhood back in April. 5 remote cameras being pulled into the show by me in my home-based studio. The technology will pioneer the way media interacts with Moms. Gone is the expense of traditional media studio time. Gone is the need to all travel to the same studio. That alone is way cool. But also knowing I was producing this while wearing slippers in my basement while some of the Moms had kids sneaking in during their off-camera time?
Wow. Just wow. Moms, we can have our cake and eat it, too.
I'll take mine in the form of red velvet, please.
