Still very LOST

I didn't get to watch LOST last night, so I just watched it online this morning.  After taking some serious cold medicine.

Not too many revelations, interesting but not shocking...until the very last second...WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

******Spoiler Alert******

I thought for sure that Sawyer was going to be Kate's  baby's daddy.  Figured that was even more apparent when she told Jack that she understood the reason why he didn't want to see the baby, duh, it's because he loves her and, hello, it's Sawyer's baby...

The baby....

Aaron?!?!?!?!?!?  I'd scream, but I'm so sick right now and  lost my voice yesterday.

OK, so, the Oceanic 6: Kate, Jack, Hurley, Sayid, Aaron, Ben?  Wait, does Ben count as one of the six?

I have such a love/hate relationship with this show.  I can't help but watch.  I'm addicted.  The title is very appropriate.  It's how I feel after watching each episode!

Cough, cough. I’m SO sick.
It hurts even to whisper.
My throat is on fire.

Cannot wrap my brain
around the five seven five

Tell Me Thursday: Who's THE MAN?!

Yesterday, I participated in Worldless Wendnesday with my post: Who’s THE MAN?!

Today is Tell Me Thursday...time to take the less out of wordless.

Yep, I missed Tell Me Thursday yesterday. I’m a little under the weather, had to take BamBam to the doctors (again) and I to get the house ready to have a small party because I had a friend visiting from out of town. Tangent: I lost my voice slowly throughout the night. These were my high school friends and it was pure torture. It’s difficult to be a wise ass when you have to whisper. Not fair. It was fun anyway.

OK, so this picture is of BamBam as a baby. Since the shot is over 2 years old, I’m not really breaking my no pics of the kids rule. We thought it was funny when he was a baby and this picture was such a hit with friends and family back here in the US. We had many requests to get an updated shot when we went back to Aruba.

I know. Hooters. SO White Trash. People, they loved my kids and entertained them while we waited for our food…taught them how to hoola hoop. I could’ve cared if they were topless…well, that’s a slight exaggeration…their lack of properly fitting clothing didn’t offend me the least when I was able to sip my sangria in peace.

The bad thing? Princess walked away saying Mommy, when I grow up, I want to be a hooters girl. We discussed not sharing that tidbit with her teachers at her Catholic school.

On My Plate Today

In addition to my every day mommy duties, I have the following on my plate today:

Decide whether or not to eat $150.
Princess goes to a private, Catholic school for kindergarten this year. We haven’t made a decision about where she should go next year for 1st grade. They want a non-refundable registration fee asap. Do we cough it up to hold her a spot until we make a decision? There are 2 kindergarten classes going into one 1st grade class. If we wait too long, we might not get a spot. Then again, I don’t want to eat $150 if we decide to let her go to the public school. $150…I could have one heck of a good night out eating sushi and drinking really good wine!

Decide whether or not to slit my wrists or volunteer
I get the joy of volunteering for my daughter’s lunch duty today. I oversee lunch for K-2 so that the teachers can eat in peace. I usually don’t mind, but my head feels like it wants to explode. Not looking forward to recess in the hot, stuffy gym with all that noise, noise, NOISE!

Decide whether or not to take BamBam back to the doctor
The Plague has hit MommyCosm the last couple of weeks. BamBam is going on day 9 of the virus from hell. He ended up in the ER Wednesday night. It took them 5 tries to get the IV in his poor, little dehydrated body. They were able to rule out any sort of bacterial infection with blood tests and chest x-rays. He still is quite congested. Still isn’t really eating more than enough to support a small mouse…and he’s typically a BIG eater. He IS drinking plenty of fluids at least. He’s lost weight, he’s pretty weak. He only lasted 2 hours at school today…about 1 hour longer than I anticipated, but he insisted on going to see his friends.

I’ve heard that RSV can lead to pneumonia. They didn’t confirm which virus he had…the flu or RSV. Said it didn’t matter because the treatment would be the same. He was exposed to RSV, so I’m assuming that was the culprit. Anyone have experience with RSV?

Figure out how to lose 10 pounds in the next 2 days
Or at least how to appear 10 pounds less. I’m having high school friends over Thursday night because one of them is going to be visiting from out of town. I haven’t seen some of these people in a few years. I’m not looking that bad, considering I’ve had 2 kids…I’m only a size up from my pre-baby weight. However, the Plague that hit BamBam is doing it’s best to get me. I’m hanging in there and feel as if I’m fighting off the attack, but my glands are severely swollen and my face and neck are making me look bloated/fat…grrr.

Suck it up and be a good Mommy or join the circus
The Daddy had his vasectomy on Friday. BamBam and Princess have been sick. I’m fighting off their sickness myself. Everyone has fallen into a deep and endless pit of NEED. I’m tired. Thinking of joining the circus for a little peace and quiet…perhaps I’ll be exposed to less germs there?

What’s on your plate today?
